Discovery

First, we perform a baseline assessment (interviews and online survey) to determine how well aligned your team is on the most important traits of high-performing teams.

Design

Next, we sit down with the team leaders (and board members) to review the data, identify your blindspots, and design an off-site plan.

Delivery

Finally, informed by the plan, our coaches will take your team through a series of fun and educational exercises designed specifically to address your needs and goals.

Debrief

After the offsite, you receive a full written report of the outcomes, and we will schedule a Debrief Call between the facilitator and your key team members to discuss any next steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our offsites are for leadership teams that are looking to level-up their ways of working, interpersonal dynamics, and ability to make better and higher-velocity decisions. We help teams have honest conversations, dream big, and hold each other accountable, all while fostering camaraderie and connection.

  • Teams that utilize our offsite facilitation services are generally interested in addressing one or more of the following topics: 

    • Alignment on mission, vision, and/or values. These are the big questions of Why, What, and How. 
    • Building trust to enable more honest conversations and healthy debate
    • Gaining clarity on roles and responsibilities
    • Creating a safe space for “the conversations we are avoiding,” whatever those might be
  • In general, we recommend at least 2 months to ensure plenty of time for scheduling, preparation, and agenda creation. We’ve also pulled off miracles in less than a week.

  • While this can vary on the coach and offsite, most offsites are better with some pre-work. That can include an online assessment, executive interviews, and review of engagement survey data. Some coaches also share articles or materials for further preparation and reflection.

  • We define what success looks like in our initial prep call, and we create an agenda to support the results that you’d like to see. In most cases, participants will complete a team survey before the session, which influences the agenda. After the offsite, you’ll have a follow up call to debrief on what worked, what didn’t work, and what next steps look like. Our team can send an anonymous post-offsite feedback form to all attendees, to give you more information around perceived impact.

  • Our offsites last from half a day to 2 days, and generally entail the team coming together in person for that time. Individuals can zoom in, but it’s not optimal.
